Corporate Compliance Jobs: Michael Clarke

Conselium, an executive search firm, has completed a search for VP Ethics & Compliance on behalf of Actavis U.S. Mr. Michael Clarke joined Actavis U.S. in their Morristown, NJ office 1-30-2012.

Mr. Clarke’s Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure consistency and alignment with the Global Ethics and Compliance program which includes America, Latin America and Canada.
  • Conduct and coordinate the periodic risk assessments.
  • Manage, design and implement education and training programs.
  • Develop policies and procedures to avoid or minimize compliance risks.
  • Coordinate and manage investigations of allegations concerning possible violations of the Ethical code, policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate 3rd party due diligence and ensure the communication of compliance program to 3rd parties.
  • Lead the reporting for HCP spending under federal and state law requirements.
  • Liaise with Internal Audit function to determine compliance audit focus activities.

Mr. Clarke was previously VP Compliance Officer for Biomet. He also held executive compliance officer positions at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and Medco Health Solutions.
