Expectations first 12 months:
- Establishing strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Communicating a comprehensive and visible compliance message and building trust throughout the business
- Identifying areas of compliance risk and implementing necessary improvements
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership team and present quarterly/annual compliance updates
- Chairing the compliance committee
- Culture of Compliance: Oversee a comprehensive strategy and operational approach to maintaining a culture of accountability and compliance alongside General Counsel
- Risk Assessment: Execution of compliance risk assessment and subsequent implementation and improvement of compliance policies and procedures
- Developing and implementing a code of conduct and policies, procedures and practices designed to ensure compliance with applicable obligations, including requirements imposed by Federal healthcare programs
- Developing and participating in compliance training program
- Ensuring the proper reporting of violations or potential violations to enforcement agencies as appropriate
Requirements:
- Education: Undergraduate degree required
- Certification: Relevant compliance certification required, such as CCEP or CHC
- Experience in healthcare delivery compliance that demonstrates your development & implementation of an effective compliance program
- Industry experience: Must have compliance experience developed by working for multi-site healthcare provider
- Compliance functional experience must include: Implementation of compliance and ethics program based around all applicable regulations and requirements of Federal and State healthcare programs; well versed in all matters relating to healthcare billing practices (e.g. Medicare)
- Soft skills: Must be business focused and dynamic with a strong partnering mentality, ability to simplify the complex, able to influence senior management to support and drive ethics and compliance program
Relocation Policy:
- Client will support and fund candidates wishing to commute long distance on a weekly basis within the US
