Vice President of Compliance Advisory
Premier Global Fintech Leader – B2B Commerce
POSITION IS REMOTE – United States
We are representing a global FinTech company with a 40-year record of success inclusive of cumulative revenue growth of 50% over the past 3 years. They have a strategic plan to double revenue growth in the next 3 years. The Vice President of Compliance Advisory will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and be part of the executive leadership team.

First Year Expectations VP of Compliance:
• Master the product lines inclusive of fleet payments, travel payments, financial technology, etc.
• Towards the end the 9-month mark produce a road map for the compliance annual plan
Essential Duties VP of Compliance:
• Oversee the management of the Advisory Compliance team supporting the company financial products and services including Fleet, Over the Road, Travel, Corporate Payments Solutions, and Flume, as well as new products
• Work closely with the Compliance team at the company’s bank to ensure financial products and services, as well as services provided to the Bank, are designed to support State, Federal and FDIC regulatory requirements
• Provide responses to state and federal agency requests and regulatory audits, in addition to the handling of any other regulatory concerns, coordinating with Legal where necessary
• Direct the assessment of targeted compliance issues, investigations and mitigate potential risks by collaborating with Legal and other teams
• Build new compliance processes, policies, and procedures and risk management programs, with an eye toward building digital-first, scalable solutions
• Assist in the development and implementation of the compliance plan that incorporates the seven elements of an effective compliance program
• Continually raise awareness of compliance, integrity, and risk issues. Review compliance related content to be included in employee training and education
• Participate in and bring the Compliance perspective to critical situations, change management, and client/partner requests
• Identify and evaluate key areas of opportunity and potential risks within legislative and regulatory environment
• Work closely with Risk and Compliance functions that are managed centrally, such as Corporate Compliance,
• Enterprise Risk Management, Business Continuity, Anti-Financial Crimes, and Privacy, as well as the Bank
• Manage a staff of compliance advisory professionals
Qualifications of the VP of Compliance:
• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree with preference for advanced degree
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory agency focusing on banking, MSBs, or payment services
• Knowledge of industry regulations governing products/services including BSA/AML, AML transaction monitoring, KYC/CIP, Beneficial Ownership rules, and NACHA rules
• Familiarity with payments products and the relevant regulatory requirements and schemes
• Experience with fraud and BSA/AML investigations of suspicious or fraudulent activity
