Conselium, an executive search firm, has completed a search on behalf of Teva Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Mafalda Alves began her role of Compliance Manager – Latin America on 11-12-2012 in their office in Miami, Florida.
Ms. Alves Responsibilities include:

Maintaining expertise in international sales and marketing compliance by keeping current with U.S. and international laws and regulations including the FCPA, U.K. Bribery Act 2010

Maintaining and updating the Compliance program’s policies and procedures

Providing guidance and evaluating the appropriateness of sales and marketing related activities, including the review and approval of certain sales and marketing practices

Analyzing risks and developing risk mitigation plans

Developing and implementing compliance training on a regular basis for all employees

Conducting assistance with investigations of possible compliance-related misconduct

Supporting the commercial team’s due diligence reviews of third-party representatives
Ms. Alves was previously Senior Counsel for ISTA Pharmaceuticals.
