Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and managing a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving all aspects of the global Corporate Compliance Program, taking initiative to learn business and compliance risks, and exercising sound judgment in addressing compliance issues appropriately
- Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer in overseeing, managing and continuously improving the global Corporate Compliance Program
- Ensure the timely assignment, investigation and resolution of reports received via employee hotline or through any other reporting channel in compliance with internal procedures; update EthicsPoint management system accordingly to reflect the status of all internal investigations
- Collaborate with HR, IA, IT and any other necessary functions to thoroughly investigate matters that are escalated to Compliance function
- Oversee and manage compliance training program and monitor the effectiveness of the program
- Collaborate with Legal, HR and Internal Audit to develop and assist in carrying out compliance-related audits and risk assessments
- Promote culture of integrity with an effective, on-going compliance communications plan, driving awareness and helping to set the “tone at the top”
- Efficiently manage third-party due diligence program and train employees on compliance-related issues involved in the sales, procurement, and partnering process
- Assist with assessment, management and resolution of actual or potential conflicts of interest
- Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the business activities across the organization and applicable local, state, federal and international laws and regulations
- Identify specific compliance priorities; plan and prioritize activities based on risk on a prescribed cycle (e.g., annual compliance priorities)
- Serve as a trusted advisor to personnel with ethics and compliance questions or concerns
- Assist in updating Code of Conduct and compliance policies, procedures, and resources, as needed, and ensure consistency across compliance-related policies
- Review commercial and other operational projects to identify and mitigate compliance risks
- Assist with preparing regular compliance program briefings for senior leadership and the Board of Directors
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- You should bring significant general compliance, ethics and privacy experience in comparable industries
- Your experience should include managing international compliance issues at a complex global firm including anti bribery and corruption laws (FCPA) and privacy (GDPR)
