Director/Senior Director Compliance Policy & Training

We are representing a premier biopharma that has over 25 years in changing lives of patients with the development of orphan drugs. The Director/Senior Director – Compliance Policy & Training will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and have two direct reports.

First Year Focus:
• Evaluate and develop a comprehensive training strategy
• Evaluate compliance policies/procedures and initiate plan to enhance and augment same
Responsibilities of Director/Senior Director Include:
• Oversee and develop compliance policies/procedures that impact business, products, operations, and systems inclusive of the Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Operations
• Develop/administer the training and communication strategy for the entire company
• Develop and continually refine training content and delivery
• Counsel and provide subject matter expertise to business partners on compliance policy issues
• Participate in Risk Assessment and Management processes with a focus on risk mitigation strategies involving policies, training, and communications
• Participate in Compliance Committee
• Supervise two support professionals
Requirements of Director/Senior Director Include:
• Bachelor’s Degree: Advanced Degree preferred
• Required experience in policy management and training in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or device space
• In-depth understanding of compliance risks facing the pharmaceutical industry with a particular focus on issues facing Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Operations
• Supervisory management is preferred
Relocation Policy:
• Full relocation provided by client…the timing of relocation will be negotiated as we continue to navigate the current health situation
