With Health Care Reform fast approaching, one out of 11 companies, according to a survey created by Deloitte, are considering dropping health care completely. While the full effect of this decision is not yet known, a few consequences are foreseeable.
While companies may save money by just paying penalties, this decision comes with potential problems: union organizing, low morale, a bad public image and issues with employee retention and recruitment are just a few.
