Regional Compliance Officer – LATAM

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Expectations first 12 months:
- Establish self as business partner, building working relationships with regional and international stakeholders including sales/commercial leaders and teams
- Continue development of LATAM regional compliance program, based on compliance risk assessment conducted in each participating country
- Align LATAM compliance program with global standards, ensuring uniformity by communicating with global legal and compliance leadership and counterparts
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Global Chief Compliance Officer and Regional Head of Legal & Compliance LATAM
- Implementation and oversight of Standards of Business Conduct and Business Ethics Program in the region
- Implementation and oversight of Anti-Bribery program in the region
- Development and implementation of LATAM compliance program, including training, Anti-Bribery Auditing and Monitoring, third party due diligence
- Act as the point of contact for the regional General Managers and other key members of the management team on all compliance-related issues
- Responsible for carrying out compliance investigations and making and assisting in the implementation of recommendations
- Document Management: Organize the retention, organization and document management of an official set of compliance records including policies, guidance and legal requirements
- Subject matter responsibility for LATAM healthcare regulation and privacy requirements
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Language: Business English
- Compliance Experience: You must have significant compliance experience covering policies and procedures, training and communication, audit and investigations, helpline management, etc.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with counterparts such as physicians, state, federal and international agency officials
