Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments of the business
- Review new and pending laws and regulations to advise the business
- Assist the business in adapting to new laws and regulations
- Monitor the business activities to assure compliance
- Develop action plans to modify the compliance program to adjust to the changing market
- Assess risk with new product launches
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Industry: Life insurance industry experience gained from in-house or as consultant
- Functional Experience: Gained in compliance, audit, or finance capacity
- Core Knowledge: Experience with NAIC model laws, underwriting, loss reserves
