Senior Director – Healthcare Compliance

We are recruiting for a global retail industry leader in their search for a Senior Director – Healthcare Compliance.

Expectations first 12 months:
- Establish self as business partner, building working relationships with international stakeholders
- Continue maturity of health and wellness billing compliance program, based on compliance risk and maturity assessments
- Formulate action plan to address risks and gaps in program and talent
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee program by maintaining a thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements for Pharmacy, Optical, and Clinics to receive payments from 3rd party payers (Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, Managed Care Plans)
- Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements performed by external providers, reviewing, assessing, and analyzing the overall billing and documentation system for potential compliance issues and non-compliance
- Supporting the development of training related to billing activities (Fraud, Waste & Abuse requirements, False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback, Conflict of Interest)
- Design strategies and procedures to manage new regulations and changing regulations
- Directing the research and analysis of health and wellness state and federal statutes and regulations
- Directing the design and execution of training and education on compliance policies and procedures
- Leading cross-functional teams to direct response to compliance issues
- Direct compliance investigations and audits by designing and developing strategies, protocols, and procedures for investigating and responding to compliance concerns
- Advising leadership on compliance matters and trends; developing and directing implementation of mitigation strategies
Requirements:
- Essential Education: Bachelor’s degree, JD preferred
- Certification: CHC desirable
- You should bring extensive healthcare compliance experience
- Experience should include exposure to CMS compliance
Relocation:
