Responsibilities:
- Managing a team responsible for the full corporate compliance program and audit
- Responsible for ensuring that company product areas meet regulatory requirements in all 50 states as well as federal regulations, including Medicare Part D rules and regulations
- Advising functional infrastructure and functional experts and providing project support to all functional areas of the business unit
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with client contracts, partner contracts (e.g., retail networks, pharmaceutical manufacturers) and vendor contracts
- Responsible for performing risk assessments and implementing and maintaining controls
- Coordinates with Internal Audit to direct and prioritize audits / investigations and business process evaluations to identify exposures to regulatory, financial or programmatic risks
- Responsible for the creation of policies & procedures that cross functional areas, monitoring of compliance to those policies & procedures, development and oversight of improvement plans when existing policies / procedures fail to meet the needs of the business
- Participates as a leader and subject matter expert on enterprise-wide mandated projects and achieves business operational compliance with all measures relative to HIPAA, SOX, and Privacy & Security Office initiatives
Requirements:
- Essential Education: Bachelor’s degree, JD preferable
- Compliance Experience: You must bring significant healthcare compliance and leadership experience
- You must have demonstrable exposure to building/improving a large company compliance program
