Global Director of Compliance – 3rd Party Risk Responsibilities:
- Prepare and continuous improve the 3rd party global annual Compliance Risk Assessment Process
- Drive the program, including the use of preventative (screening and due diligence), contractual (with Legal), and detective (monitoring and auditing) controls designed and placed in operation to mitigate risk
- Prepare a top line annual work-plan to develop and implement detailed, effective auditing and monitoring tools (i.e. work programs, checklists, questionnaires, etc.)
- Identify the potential root causes for areas where non-compliance is discovered
- Through internal & external resources, oversee the operation and successful completion of the annual Compliance Auditing & Monitoring Plan
Global Director of Compliance – 3rd Party Risk Requirements:
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device compliance experience gained in-house or in a consulting or legal firm
- Detailed working knowledge and experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act the UK Bribery Act
- Experience with management/oversight of all types of global 3rd parties like: distributors, event planners, travel agents, consultants, etc.
- 3rd party compliance audit experience preferred
