Responsibilities of Head of Legal & Compliance:
- Ensure full implementation of Global Compliance Policy on Due Diligence and Interactions with Third Party Representatives
- Ensure that all activities with Health Care Providers & Government Officials are submitted in line with established Compliance process
- Establish local SOPs based on corporate policies and guidelines, global principles and standards, applicable laws, and regulations.
- Provide regular trainings to relevant functions on global policies and local SOPs
- Perform activity risk-assessment and implement a Compliance monitoring plan
- Perform review/approval of promotional/non-promotional materials
- Provide legal advice and ensure that current or proposed activities, policies, business practices, and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations
- Draft legal agreements and assess relevant agreements
Requirements of Head of Legal & Compliance:
- Bachelor’s Law degree is required
- Must have both legal and compliance experience
- Prefer in-house experience for multi-national but will consider professionals from legal or consulting environments
- Prefer experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device but will consider other industries
- Must have knowledge and experience with Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption issues
