Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and managing a team of two, lead the operation and management of company-wide policies and procedures, communications, and training
• Responsible for managing the enterprise governance structure for policy creation and management, developing and improving processes for policy management and accountability, and managing the vendor relationship for new compliance automation tool
• Develop the strategy to drive compliance culture through the organization by using strategic communications and coordinating across the compliance team and external stakeholders to include, but not limited to, communications, human resources, and legal
• Coordinate the preparation of the compliance training program and successfully implement across the enterprise in collaboration with the compliance team
• Track and trend completion rates, monitor and report on training penetration and success, and ensure the training program is dynamic and responsive to the evolving company
• Responsible for aligning with operations to develop and implement proactive prevention focused compliance initiatives to mitigate organizational compliance risk, such as planning and launching the enterprise-wide compliance week activities
• Responsible for managing the compliance technology tool that tracks compliance investigation, workflows and other key compliance activities and metrics, as well as managing and maintaining the vendor relationship
• Providing regular and ad hoc reports to the compliance team and business leaders as necessary and appropriate
• Supervise, direct, coach and mentor the directors, managers, and others on the compliance operations team in line with achieving the objectives of the compliance department
• Ensure all applicable licenses and certifications are maintained for the performance of the function of the team; in addition, support team members to maintain the necessary competencies
• Manage collaborative work with legal, operations and others on the compliance team to ensure material compliance culture impacting initiatives are well coordinated
• Participate in or otherwise support compliance initiatives conducted by other functional areas including human resources, legal, and operations
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding all work matters, and fully comply with all legal and ethical obligations, the Company Code of Conduct, and the Code of Ethics for Healthcare Professionals adopted by the Health Care Compliance Association
Requirements:
• Essential Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Compliance Experience: You must bring significant compliance operations and leadership experience, including demonstrable exposure to improving and implementing training and communications programs and new technology and systems implementation on a large complex scale
