Conselium, an executive search firm, has completed a search on behalf of Teva Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Eduardo Buso began his role of Regional Compliance Officer-Lat Am on 6-3-13 in their office in Miami, Florida.
Mr. Buso’s Responsibilities include:
- Provide compliance counseling and resolve questions from internal clients regarding compliance policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct and anti-corruption policies
- Implement policies and procedures designed to prevent and detect conduct inconsistent with the company’s policies and applicable legal requirements
- Drive education and awareness on compliance
- Design and execute compliance training programs for internal employees and business partners
- Investigate, resolve and remediate alleged misconduct and violations of policies
- Supervise initially 4 direct reports throughout the LatAm region
Mr. Buso held previous Compliance Officer positions for Grifols Pharma and General Electric.
The backbone of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries is its world-leading generic pharmaceuticals business. Through subsidiary Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, the company makes generic versions of brand-name antibiotics, heart drugs, heartburn medications, and more — in all about 300 generic products.
