Conselium Executive Search is representing an International Financial Leader. We are one of the top 5 Money Service Businesses (MSB) in the world conducting business in 145 countries. The Head of International Compliance will report to the Global Chief Compliance Officer.
This International Financial Leader:
- Continues to grow the business organically and though acquisitions
- Has a strong values system based on valuing customers, employees, and business partners
- Offers operational and strategic ownership and control of the Int’l Compliance Program
What You Bring:
- Dynamic leader who is an agent of change: able to build out processes that support the business yet steer clear of regulatory land minds
- Must demonstrate ability to design, implement an effective program and manage staff across int’l boarders
Expectations the First Year:
- Further build out the AML program across the region
- Continue to develop processes that the business will support
- Continue to develop existing staff and recruit others as required
RESPONSIBILITIES OF HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL COMPLIANCE
- Development & implementation of AML program across the EMEA & Asia
- Development & implementation of control framework for data protection & business continuity
- Development & implementation of the Compliance Audit Plan
- Provide input on transaction monitoring platform from regional perspective
- Training of staff / board members on all Compliance-related matters
- Integrate international regional plans into global framework
REQUIREMENTS OF HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL COMPLIANCE:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Qualification: Must be Pre-approved control function i.e. Money Laundering Reporting Officer
- Compliance experience: Experience consistent the responsibilities listed above
- Industry experience: Prefer experience in MSB, payments, (industries dealing with extensive consumer protection focus)
- Geographic experience: Prefer multi-regional experience
- Management experience: Prefer cross-border management experience
RELOCATION POLICY: Relocation to London will be considered
