Conselium, an executive search firm, has completed a search on behalf of Buckeye Partners L.P. Mr. Patrick Monaghan began his role of Compliance Officer on 3-12-2012 in their Houston, Texas office.
Mr. Monaghan’s Responsibilities include:
- Develops initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the corporate compliance program.
- Institutes and maintains an effective corporate compliance communication program that heightens 1) employee awareness of the Business Code of Conduct and other policies, guidelines, and procedures and 2) employee understanding of new and existing compliance issues.
- Responds to alleged compliance violations, including by initiating appropriate investigative procedures.
- Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues and concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.
- Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develops and implements corrective action plans for resolution.
- Provides reports on a regular basis to keep the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board and senior management informed of the Company’s corporate compliance activities.
- Works with the Human Resources Department and others as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.
