Associate Director Compliance expectations first 12 months:
- Develop relationships with key business owners and attend their meetings
- Help transform compliance function from rules based to principle based
- Set yourself up as subject matter compliance expert within the business ….business partner
Associate Director Compliance responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an effective compliance program for the clinical trials area…..note other business areas will be supported with clinical trials the most significant
- Support the risk assessment and analysis process to continuously evaluate risk areas and priorities
- Act as a business partner to clinical trials to provide assistance and advice on daily operations and ensure appropriate compliance controls and training, as well as investigations
- Work closely with other compliance colleagues to ensure consistent application and implementation of identified compliance controls, training, monitoring, and auditing
- Collaborate with compliance colleagues to identify areas of compliance risk in respective business areas, including topics related to the principles of scientific exchange and promotion, health care provider engagements, Transparency & Disclosure, CIA, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
Requirements of Associate Director Compliance:
- Education: Bachelors required…..advanced degree preferred
- Industry experience: Must have experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry…..experienced obtained as employee of such or advisor from a law firm or consulting firm
- Pharma Issues: Must have demonstrated experience with pharmaceutical compliance issues such as: Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, interaction with HCPs, etc.
- Functional expertise: Experience with development of Policy/Procedure, delivery of training, oversite of investigations, oversite of monitoring and auditing
- Preferred profile: Pharma compliance professional with exposure in support of medical area
Telecommuting Policy:
- Eligible to work from home two days per week
