Compliance Director – Expectations first 12 months:
- Begin documentation of Compliance Program for the U.S.
- Build an awareness within the business of a strong ethical culture
- Present a Compliance Program that will be proactive vs. reactive
Compliance Director Position Summary:
Develop a Compliance Program that encompasses the OIG guidelines. Scope will include monitoring compliance with U.S. federal/state laws and regulations related to the promotion, sale/marketing of products, interactions and payments to healthcare professionals, and global anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws.
Compliance Director Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
- Develop and administer all compliance training including onboarding and annual refresher of staff members to build a company-wide compliance culture mindset
- Manage the execution of Compliance Monitoring programs including but not limited to: grants, donations, sponsorships, healthcare professional fees for services, medical information requests, speaker programs, ride-a-longs, advisory boards and clinical trial research
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all required data for Sunshine Act
- Partner with Key Stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration, alignment, process improvement and best practice
- Design and deliver meaningful, accurate and effective presentations to senior management and ensure follow-up on any areas that require corrective action
- Drive innovation within the functional area through data analytics and system automation
Compliance Director Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Industry experience: Prefer in-house experience in Diagnostic Clinic, Biotech, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device company; receptive to professionals working in consulting who service life science companies
- Technical expertise: Must have thorough knowledge of 7 elements of a compliance program; must have a demonstrated ability to build out comprehensive compliance program; knowledge of Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption; international experience is a plus
- Geographic scope: S. and international
Relocation Policy:
- Company will provide full relocation……working remotely may also be an option if can spend one week per month in Bridgewater, NJ
